We are seeking a skilled welder for structural fabrication in our company located in Abu-Dhabi. As a welder you will be responsible for accurately fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints and project specifications. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all structures are strong and stable, meeting safety standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and project specifications to determine welding requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, gauge or template
- Cut metal components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Weld components together using electric arc welding equipment
- Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, saws, drills, etc.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a welder in structural fabrication, minimum of 2 years
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, tools and safety precautions
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the fabrication process
- Attention to detail with strong manual dexterity
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs
- Valid welding certification is preferred but not required
Salary:
Starting salary of 1400$ per month with potential for increase based on performance.
Location:
Abu-Dhabi, UAE. Candidates must already reside in Abu-Dhabi or have their own visa.
