About the roleThe Mechanical Technician is responsible for fabricating, installing, calibrating, testing, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems in routine situations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation and repair of mechanical systems
- Calibrate and test mechanical equipment
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical components
- Follow maintenance schedules and safety protocols
- Document work performed and report issues
- May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
- Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Attention to detail and safety
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
