Role Overview

Join our team as a Shift Technician - Mechanical where you will be an essential member supporting uninterrupted facility operations for our advanced data centre environment. As part of our team in Saudi Arabia, you’ll work in an onsite environment, collaborating closely with engineering staff and management. Your experience in shift-based work and mechanical maintenance will contribute directly to maintaining high operational standards and responding effectively to any facility emergencies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) on data centre mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and repair faults in mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to emergency situations, providing immediate technical solutions to restore functionality.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and site‑specific safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate in English with colleagues, supervisors, and external vendors as necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence within the data centre mechanical infrastructure.
  • Document all activities and report issues using established maintenance management systems.
Requirements For

The Role
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience working in mechanical maintenance within a data centre environment.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Ability and willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems with proven ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
  • Demonstrated ability to detect faults, perform corrective repairs, and respond to alarms and emergencies with composure.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in a technical facility setting.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
