Service Technician

Job Summary

Service Technician is responsible for the assembly, maintenance, testing, disassembly, and troubleshooting of K‑Winch. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures while utilizing hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.

• Perform service, repair, and assembly activities in line with standard service procedures.
• Accurately complete and document service reports, checklists, and update relevant business systems.
• Conduct visual inspections of parts following third‑party inspections and report findings.
• Identify improvement opportunities and actively participate in problem‑solving initiatives.
• Support and promote company Safety & Quality standards and procedures.
• Identify hazards and risks in line with company observation programs and Stop Work Authority.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process failures using Root Cause Analysis.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop environment.
• Complete assigned training and competency development programmes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the team leader.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Awareness and understanding of workshop environments.
• Physically fit for workshop‑based work.
• Knowledge of operating overhead cranes and breakout machines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience in oilfield repair and maintenance shops.
• Advanced knowledge of overhead cranes and breakout machines.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role (considered an asset).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively.
• Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
• Computer literacy.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Fast learner with adaptability to a dynamic shop environment.

• Perform all duties in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures and departmental instructions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Participate in required training programmes.
• Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
