Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production activities and monitor progress against project schedules and production plans. Liaise with Production Planning, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, PMV and Project teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of activities. Track fabrication, piping, structural, mechanical and ship repair activities and provide progress updates. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractor requirements to support production operations. Monitor job cards, work orders and production reports to ensure accurate recording and tracking of activities.
Follow up on material availability and coordinate with Procurement and Stores to avoid production delays. Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly production reports for management review. Maintain production schedules and communicate updates, delays and resource requirements to relevant stakeholders. Support production meetings and coordinate action items arising from progress review discussions. Ensure production documentation is maintained accurately and updated regularly.
Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments. Monitor compliance with project requirements, company procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Perform additional duties assigned by the Production Manager.
- Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in production coordination, fabrication, ship repair, marine, oil & gas, or EPC environments. - Strong understanding of fabrication, structural, piping, and mechanical production processes.
- Experience in project coordination, production planning, and progress monitoring.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schedules, and work orders.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
