Sand Plant Process Operator Location
Abu Dhabi, UAE (Remote Site-Based)
About the RoleWe are looking for experienced Process Operators to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a sand processing facility. The successful candidate will monitor plant performance, maintain product quality, and support production targets while adhering to strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor processing equipment including conveyors, screens, crushers, pumps, classifiers, and related systems.
- Start up, shut down, and adjust plant equipment according to operating procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal operating conditions.
- Monitor process parameters and maintain accurate production records.
- Support quality control activities and product specification compliance.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance tasks.
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
- Coordinate closely with maintenance, laboratory, and operations teams.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sand processing, mining, quarry, aggregate, manufacturing, or industrial operations preferred.
- Basic understanding of plant equipment and process operations.
- Ability to follow operating procedures and safety requirements.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts and in remote-site environments.
- Hands‑on experience operating crushing and screening plants, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, vibrating screens, conveyors, and wash plant equipment
. - Ability to monitor production rates, adjust feed rates, and optimize plant performance.
- Experience inspecting and maintaining conveyor systems, including belt alignment checks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify operational issues and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Good understanding of plant safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and safe operating practices.
- Experience in quarry, aggregate, mining, or sand processing environments preferred
