Milling Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Experience on workshop equipment such as milling machine, lathe, planar shaper as per requirement of work job.
• Able to read basic drawing and check dimensions.
• Knowledge of machine tools and equipment.
• Tools used: cutter, tool holders, cutting tips.
• Assembly fitting of machines.
• Clean and lubricate machines, tools and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains and foreign matter.
• Use precision tools e.g. calipers to take accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of metal properties and other materials.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
• Responsible for machine condition and safety of machine.
• Responsible for personal safety at workplace and while using the machine.

• High school/ITI.
• Experience:
  
  3‑5 Years (Same field).
• Good knowledge of and adherence with safety standards.
• Team player.
• Good time‑management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Miller, Turner and Lathe machines knowledge.
