CAD/CAM Technician
As a CAD/CAM Technician, you will prepare and optimize NC programs for CNC machining, create and modify 3D CAD models, and support the production of high-quality precision components. Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, you will ensure machining programs meet technical specifications while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Create and modify 3D CAD models and prepare NC programs for CNC machining.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Optimize machining programs, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Support first article validation and production readiness.
- Maintain program documentation and revision control.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
- Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Machining, or a related discipline.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
- Ability to create 3D models and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and manufacturing practices.
