Spiderlift Operator

Overview

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Spiderlift operator to safely operate Aerial Work Platforms (namely TEUPEN
) ranging from 10 metres to 50 metres
. These can be articulated or telescopic spiderlifts. You will be responsible for operation, maintenance, and ensuring safety during all tasks.

• Operate spiderlifts using proper controls and ensuring safety of working at height at all times including adherence to PPE/site work clothing requirements.
• Perform daily inspections of spiderlifts and report malfunctions for timely repairs.
• Follow safety procedures during loading, unloading, and lifting operations.
• Complete tasks within time and safety targets.
• Ensure the spiderlift is stable and positioned safely on different grounds.
• Report any damage or unsafe conditions to site supervisor.
• Monitor wind speed and inform the supervisor when required.

• IPAF license/card with categories such as 1B
  . Previous certificates of spiderlift examinations and training will be advantageous.
• Previous experience of operating spiderlifts.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work as part of a team on site.
• Excellent ability of maintaining spiderlifts and understanding the functions and limits of the machine.
• Must be willing to undertake a technical exam related to spiderlift operation, conducted by the relevant body, to ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
