About the role

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of production activities across assigned product lines, work areas, or projects. This role involves managing production plans and production orders, manpower utilization, ERP updates including SAP/MES where applicable, OLE/OEE performance, PR follow‑up, quality coordination, HSE compliance, ISO management system requirements, reporting, risk management, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure production targets are achieved in line with approved procedures, business priorities, and company requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production operations to deliver production plans safely, on time, within quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Plan and manage production readiness, ensuring availability of manpower, materials, tools, equipment, documentation, and system requirements before execution.
  • Oversee production order execution through ERP/SAP/MES, including order release, routing compliance, labor booking, material consumption, traceability, and order closure.
  • Manage workforce planning and operational performance, optimizing manpower utilization, shift coverage, OEE/OLE, productivity, and recovery actions.
  • Monitor and improve production performance by tracking output, schedule adherence, downtime, quality issues, material shortages, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Drive cross‑functional coordination with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, HSE, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and ensure business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, including SOPs, ISO requirements, HSE regulations, 5S, and audit readiness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on productivity, efficiency, quality, resource utilization, process optimization, and team development.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in production, manufacturing, operations, engineering, industrial, technical, or related operational environments, including experience managing teams, production execution, manpower utilization, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Such As (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Electrical) or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in an agile, structured, regulated, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or Engineering/technical production environment, with exposure to ERP systems, SAP/MES, production orders, OLE/OEE, PR follow‑up, quality systems, HSE requirements, ISO standards, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • MS ( Word, Excel etc…), Training or certification in production management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence, ERP/SAP/MES systems, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, quality management, HSE awareness (NEBOSH), internal audit, risk management, or people management, PMP.
