** Full-Time#### About the RolePSI is looking for an experienced Assistant Fabricator to support heavy fabrication activities involving pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, piping, and related industrial equipment.

The role requires practical experience in heavy plate and pipe grinding, nozzle cut-outs, chip-back grinding, gouging, gas cutting, pug cutting, material preparation, and fit-up support. The successful candidate must be capable of working safely around heavy machinery and fabrication equipment.####

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the fabrication of heavy pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
* Perform heavy plate edge grinding, heavy-wall pipe grinding, nozzle cut-out grinding, and general fabrication grinding work.
* Carry out nozzle cut-outs accurately according to approved fabrication drawings and specifications.
* Perform chip-back grinding to prepare weld edges and maintain the required joint quality.
* Carry out gouging, gas cutting, pug cutting, and material edge preparation for plates and pipes.
* Support fit-up activities for longitudinal seams, circumferential seams, nozzles, and reinforcement components.
* Assist welders during fit-up, alignment, tack welding preparation, and material handling.
* Use grinders, cutting tools, bevelling machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
* Measure and verify internal and external dimensions to support accurate fabrication.
* Follow fabrication drawings, material markings, and relevant WPS requirements.
* Operate other workshop machinery when required and within the candidate’s competency.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

* High School Certificate, Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification.
* Minimum 3 years of related fabrication experience.
* Experience in heavy industry, pressure vessel fabrication, or manufacturing is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of grinding, gouging, gas cutting, pug cutting, and material preparation.
* Basic ability to read fabrication drawings, WPS requirements, dimensions, and material markings.
* Ability to use grinders, cutting tools, bevelling machines, and workshop machinery.
* Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around heavy equipment.#### Key Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience
* Heavy plate and pipe grinding experience
* Gouging, gas cutting, and pug cutting skills
* Nozzle cut-out and fit-up support experience
* Pressure vessel fabrication experience preferred
