- Supervise and coordinate pipe fitters, welders, riggers, and helpers engaged in the fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of marine vessel piping systems.
- Plan daily work activities, allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet project schedules and production targets.
- Interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and piping layouts to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Ensure piping systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, class society requirements, and applicable international standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Production, Mechanical, and Commissioning teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Monitor fit-up, welding, alignment, hydrostatic testing, flushing, and reinstatement activities to ensure quality workmanship.
- Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure safe lifting, rigging, confined space, and hot work practices at site.
- Inspect work progress, identify defects or deviations, and implement corrective actions to achieve first-time quality.
- Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, material utilization, and ensure timely completion of assigned work packages.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the piping workforce while promoting productivity, housekeeping, and continuous improvement throughout marine construction activities
