Role Overview
As a Technician - Renk, you will be a vital part of our expert workshop team, ensuring the precise assembly and disassembly of highly complex gearboxes. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you ll work in an ONSITE environment and collaborate closely with colleagues starting October 2026. We value technicians with direct experience in gearboxes or automotive product assembly, repair, and servicing.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble high-precision gearboxes according to engineering standards.
- Service gearboxes, maintaining adherence to proper procedures and scope of work.
- Communicate closely with the project lead to address all open issues promptly and professionally.
- Read and interpret section drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals for accurate work execution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and assembly/service lists using computer software.
- Ensure safety protocols and processes are always diligently followed.
- Collaborate with peers to achieve team objectives in an effective and constructive manner.
Must Have Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or completed vocational training as a technician (e.g., mechatronics or automotive technician).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical repair, preferably with gearboxes or automotive products.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical component operation and assembly tools.
- Ability to interpret section drawings and hydraulic schematics accurately.
- Strong proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Basic skills in PC operation with MS Word, Excel, and documentation tools.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Excellent adherence to safety standards and company protocols.
Nice To Have Requirements
- Prior experience with RENK products or similar gearbox manufacturers.
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostic and measurement tools for gearbox servicing.
- Experience working in the Middle East or knowledge of regional work practices and regulations.
- Keen troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
