Direct to Garment (DTG) Printing Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Direct to Garment (DTG) Printing Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience with DTG printing technology and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of printed products. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.

• Operate and maintain DTG printing machines to produce high-quality printed apparel and other products.
• Prepare artwork files and ensure they are properly formatted for DTG printing.
• Load garments onto the printing machine, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure accurate color reproduction and print quality.

• Perform routine maintenance on DTG printing machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the printing process.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and machine performance.

• Inspect printed products for quality, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring they meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Address any print defects or issues promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure continuous improvement in print quality.

• Manage inventory of printing supplies, including inks, pretreatment solutions, and garments.
• Order and replenish supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all supplies are stored properly.

• Suggest and implement improvements to the DTG printing process to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated on the latest DTG printing technologies and techniques.
• Participate in training sessions and share knowledge with team members to improve overall production capabilities.

• Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, and requirements.
• Provide feedback on design files and suggest adjustments for optimal print results.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.
• Proven experience operating DTG printing machines.
• Strong understanding of DTG printing processes, color management, and garment preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
