We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team for a full-time, temporary position on a shutdown project. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal products and structures according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment and possess strong fabrication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures, and marking tools
- Cut, shape, and bend metal using hand and power tools
- Weld, braze, or solder parts together using various welding techniques
- Inspect and test completed products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fabricated products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fabricator in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and bending
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in an industrial setting
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed for the project
