Manufacturing ​/ Production Helper, Material Handler

Job Summary

The Helper plays a vital support role in maintaining smooth production operations by assisting with housekeeping, material handling, and packing activities across the shop floor. This position ensures that the work environment remains clean, safe, and organized while supporting machine operators and production teams in day-to-day tasks. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety practices, and a disciplined approach to handling materials and waste.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized shop floor by regularly removing paper scraps, dust, and debris from workstations, walkways, and machine areas
• Ensure that all production areas are kept neat to support efficient workflow and minimize safety hazards
• Safely collect and dispose of used ink tins, chemical containers, and other waste materials in designated disposal zones
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines while handling and disposing of waste materials
• Assist in packing operations by supporting the handling of finished goods and related materials
• Lift, move, and transport binding and finishing materials as required for production and packing activities
• Ensure materials are properly stacked, labeled, and stored to prevent damage or misplacement
• Support machine operators and production staff with basic tasks to ensure uninterrupted workflow
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and surrounding areas as per operational standards
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures and guidelines
• Report any unsafe conditions, damages, or irregularities to supervisors promptly
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required
• Contribute to maintaining overall discipline and efficiency within the production environment

Mandatory Requirements

• 10th or +2 Pass
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and material handling
