K.M. Trading Group is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Bakery Manager to lead our bakery production and operations across our branch network.
Position: Bakery Manager
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant bakery management experience
Location: UAE
Key Responsibilities- Manage the complete bakery production operation
, ensuring consistent quality and timely production. - Plan daily production according to branch requirements, sales trends and customer demand
. - Supervise, manage and develop the bakery production team and staff
. - Ensure bakery products are prepared, packed and delivered to branches on time
. - Maintain high standards of product quality, freshness, hygiene and food safety
. - Monitor production costs, wastage, raw-material usage and overall operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve bakery profitability and gross margins
. - Work closely with branches and sales teams to increase bakery sales and customer satisfaction
. - Develop and introduce new bakery products, recipes and product ranges based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Review product performance and discontinue or improve slow-moving products where required.
- Ensure proper production planning to minimize stock-outs, overproduction and wastage
. - Coordinate with purchasing to ensure the timely availability of quality raw materials.
- Establish production standards, recipes, portion controls and quality specifications.
- Monitor competitor products and market trends and recommend new products and business opportunities
. - Prepare and monitor production, sales, wastage and profitability reports.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable food safety and hygiene requirements
.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bakery production/management.
- Strong knowledge of bakery products, production processes and quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams and multi-branch bakery operations
. - Good understanding of production costing, wastage control and profitability.
- Ability to develop new products and improve existing product ranges
. - Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a supermarket/hypermarket or central bakery environment will be an advantage.
