3–8 years of experience in a similar aerospace repair/composite technician role.
High School Diploma, apprenticeship, or relevant on-the-job experience in a related industry.
Practical experience using hand tools such as angle grinders, drills, reamers, sealant applicators, and cutting wheels in an aerospace environment.
Knowledge of common composite defects and repair techniques.
Experience in hardware bonding, wet lamination, edge sealing, hand trimming, and deburring
.Experience with
minor/cosmetic rework and major structural composite repairs
.Knowledge of step sanding, scarfing, and staggering techniques for removing cured UD and composite fabric layers.
Experience in surface preparation prior to bonding
.Hands‑on experience with Hot Bonding processes and Heat con equipment
.Understanding of composite and prepreg material characteristics
.Knowledge of resin and adhesive systems
, including mixing and application.Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions
.
High School Diploma / Apprenticeship / Relevant technical experience.
Relevant aerospace, aircraft maintenance, composite repair, or technical certification is an advantage.
