- Set up and operate precision machining equipment including lathes milling machines drill presses and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to determine machining requirements and procedures
- Perform precise measurements and quality inspections using instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges
- Cut shape and fabricate parts to meet specifications tolerances and quality standards
- Calibrate maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance and safe operation
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and enhance manufacturing processes
- Adhere to all safety guidelines policies and procedures
- Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience in manufacturing and production processes and techniques
- Knowledge of raw materials and quality control standards
- Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO standards)
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Knowledge of machinery, tools, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with inspection/reporting software
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or equivalent hands-on machining experience
- Strong understanding of machining principles, mathematics, and mechanical concepts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
