Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategic branding and positioning of the facility by developing and implementing a marketing strategy to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships and coordinate day‑to‑day marketing activities within agreed guidelines.
  • Create incentive and tailor‑made marketing plans to attract customers to facility services.
  • Implement marketing plan and budget for the facility, coordinating with the Senior Officer on proposals for different groups.
  • Implement promotional plans for staff and customers to guarantee a steady stream of customers, especially during off‑peak periods.
  • Allocate and control marketing budget across internal and external sponsorship, profiling and advertising costs, and approve subordinate budget inquiries as required.
  • Implement marketing and communication strategy to meet academic and clinical objectives, including advertising and media plan.
  • Conduct market research, evaluate products, prices and services, and ensure highest standards in UAE operations.
  • Identify market needs through research activities to understand customer priorities and aspirations.
  • Oversee production of marketing collateral and communication material, coordinate events, promotional programs, conventions, and meetings.
  • Ensure events are well attended and organized.
  • Implement brand positioning, market activities, and forecasting.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date competitor information to preserve the facility’s competitive edge.
  • Coordinate communication programs, manage and promote the facility brand to UAE audiences.
  • Liaise with media to create awareness of the facility’s mission, clinical programs, staff and events; direct and oversee marketing projects as the main project manager.
  • Manage production of promotional items and gifts and drive the annual calendar of marketing and promotional events.
  • Develop ideas for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities to promote awareness of the facility.
  • Represent the facility to press and public at exhibitions, road shows and interview programs in an ethical manner.
  • Identify & establish a community engagement program in UAE and key international markets.
  • Develop key corporate communications, including special events, brochures, website and other mediums in strategically important areas.
  • Monitor delivery of promotional materials, maintain core external web pages.
  • Ensure accountability and compliance with the approved budget.
  • Manage marketing research activities to identify target markets and appropriate media distribution.
  • Provide marketing information and support to committees; chair committees as assigned.
  • Evaluate and report on effectiveness of activities; consult with the Director.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness of the department; administer marketing department services.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Delegate and supervise marketing departmental team; assign priorities and evaluate performance.
  • Recommend training to correct deficiencies and provide guidance on policy.
  • Ensure good customer service within the department.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key management personnel; monitor trends and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain contacts with media community, academies, government entities, healthcare providers, and sponsors.
  • Act as manager of the team, checking workload, ensuring performance management, supervising staff, and overseeing training and orientation.
  • Plan and supervise day‑to‑day activities of the section; streamline processes wherever possible.
Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a large healthcare facility.
