Digital Communications Manager, Sustainability

A high-profile global sustainability initiative is seeking an experienced Digital Communications Manager to lead its digital strategy, platforms and campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation as it builds a new marketing and communications function. The successful candidate will help expand its global reach, strengthen audience engagement and use digital channels to share the stories of sustainability innovators around the world.

The Digital Communications Manager will develop and deliver the organisation’s annual digital communications strategy and act as the custodian of its digital platforms.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing the digital communications and content strategy.
• Managing the organisation’s website, social media and wider digital presence.
• Planning and delivering web, email, SEO, paid media and digital advertising campaigns.
• Working closely with marketing colleagues and external agencies on integrated campaigns.
• Using analytics and audience insights to improve reach, engagement and performance.
• Identifying emerging platforms, technologies and digital trends.
• Leading website improvements, relaunches and digital enhancement projects.
• Managing digital vendors and agency relationships.
• Producing clear campaign reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

You will bring substantial experience in digital communications, digital marketing or a related field, with strong knowledge of web management, content, SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media. Experience working with a global foundation, prize, NGO, philanthropic organisation or purpose-led initiative would be particularly valuable. Candidates from government-related organisations, global brands or leading digital agencies will also be considered. You should have:

• Strong digital campaign and platform management experience.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience managing agencies, vendors and cross-functional projects.
• A proactive, creative and hands-on approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• An interest in sustainability, innovation and global impact.
