Own the UAE National Orchestra’s day‑to‑day visual design output, ensuring the organisation shows up with a consistent, premium, culturally appropriate, and highly polished visual identity across campaigns, social media, digital advertising, CRM, presentations, event collateral, stakeholder materials, and institutional communications.
This is a hands‑on creative production role for a designer who can move comfortably between campaign concepting and practical delivery. The Graphic Design Specialist will translate brand strategy, campaign briefs, Arabic and English content needs, and social‑first requirements into high‑quality visual assets, while building templates and systems that allow the lean marketing and communications team to work faster and more consistently.
The role requires strong visual judgement, refined typography, bilingual Arabic and English layout sensitivity, digital and social asset design experience, event collateral production discipline, and the ability to support a high‑volume campaign calendar without compromising quality.
Brand Identity and Visual Stewardship- Apply and maintain the UAE National Orchestra’s visual identity across all marketing, communications, digital, print, event, and stakeholder materials.
- Develop practical visual systems and templates that make the brand easier to apply across recurring needs, including social posts, event listings, newsletters, digital ads, presentations, reports, invitations, and signage.
- Ensure all creative output is consistent with brand guidelines, visually elegant, culturally appropriate, and suitable for Arabic and English audiences.
- Identify inconsistencies or quality issues across internal and external design outputs and recommend improvements.
- Help evolve the organisation’s visual expression over time while protecting brand coherence and institutional credibility.
- Translate campaign briefs into compelling visual concepts for season launches, concerts, special projects, education initiatives, partnerships, and institutional announcements.
- Develop campaign look and feel, visual hierarchy, image direction, layout systems, typography treatments, key visuals, and rollout toolkits.
- Create adaptable campaign assets across digital, print, CRM, social, paid media, website, event, and presentation environments.
- Produce variations for different campaign phases, audiences, languages, formats, and channel requirements.
- Support campaign reviews by presenting creative rationale, options, refinements, and production considerations clearly.
- Design platform‑ready assets for organic social, paid social, display banners, website placements, email headers, CRM journeys, video thumbnails, and digital ticket‑sales campaigns.
- Build asset variations for different platforms, placements, aspect ratios, languages, and funnel stages.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to understand which creative formats are performing and adapt assets based on campaign results.
- Work with the Social Media Specialist to create visual systems, title cards, thumbnails, overlays, and campaign graphics that support original social‑first content.
- Ensure digital design work respects platform specifications, safe zones, legibility, accessibility, and mobile‑first viewing behaviour.
- Design bilingual and Arabic‑first materials with strong layout discipline, correct hierarchy, and sensitivity to Arabic typography.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Communications Manager to ensure Arabic‑language materials are accurate, elegant, and suitable for media, stakeholder, and public use.
- Create bilingual templates that allow Arabic and English versions to be adapted efficiently without compromising visual quality.
- Ensure right‑to‑left layouts, line breaks, spacing, font choices, and hierarchy are treated with care across all Arabic‑facing materials.
- Maintain quality control for Arabic and English versions of campaign assets, event materials, media packs, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
