Liaison Officer & Public Relations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Liaison Officer & Public Relations professional to serve as the primary liaison between the project team and key stakeholders. The role is responsible for ensuring effective communication, coordinating project deliverables, maintaining compliance with stakeholder requirements, and enhancing the project's public image through strategic communications and media engagement.

• Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and key stakeholders on all project-related matters.
• Attend stakeholder meetings, communicate decisions and requirements to the internal team, and follow up on action items.
• Coordinate approvals, permits, venue clearances, schedules, reports, and other documentation required for project delivery.
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed requirements, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Escalate operational issues when required and facilitate timely resolution.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, partners, and internal teams.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with media representatives and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, official statements, announcements, and project updates.
• Coordinate media invitations, interviews, and press coverage for project events and activities.
• Collaborate with internal communications and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
• Support the development of content for social media platforms, newsletters, websites, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate on-site public relations activities during major events, including media management, VIP hosting, photographers, and media areas.
• Respond professionally to inquiries from participants, partners, media representatives, and the general public.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in public relations, stakeholder management, government relations, communications, or event management.
• Experience working with government entities, large-scale events, or sports organizations is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  Arabic.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with media and communication platforms is an advantage.
