We’re seeking a bilingual Senior Social Media Lead to shape and lead a high-impact social presence across the UAE and international markets.
You’ll set the strategy, narrative and creative standard across Arabic and English channels—bringing teams, partners and agencies together behind a clear, coherent social agenda. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines editorial judgement, cultural fluency and measurable commercial and reputational impact.
What you’ll do- Own the social media strategy, including platform mix, audience priorities, content pillars and annual calendar
- Lead always-on publishing, campaigns, leadership content and live event coverage
- Set Arabic-first editorial, creative and tone-of-voice standards across channels
- Align internal stakeholders and external partners to enable fast, well-governed publishing
- Build performance frameworks covering growth, sentiment, share of voice, engagement, reach and conversion
- Lead social listening, issues management and escalation protocols in partnership with Corporate Communications
- Drive innovation through new formats, platform-first ideas and test-and-learn initiatives
- Manage agencies, creators, influencers, paid amplification and the social budget
- Lead and develop an in-house team spanning content, community and analytics
- Full professional fluency in Arabic and English, including the ability to write, edit and approve Arabic social content directly
- 15+ years’ experience in social media, digital communications or brand marketing, including senior ownership of a social function or major channel portfolio
- Strong knowledge of the UAE media, government, business and cultural landscape
- A proven record of delivering measurable results for major corporate or brand social channels
- Experience working in a large, matrixed and highly governed organisation
- Confidence presenting strategy, investment decisions and performance outcomes to senior executives
- Practical expertise in social listening, analytics, publishing, paid social and emerging AI-enabled content tools
