Account Executive, Financial Communications

Support the day-to-day management of client accounts ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work Develop press releases media pitches key messages briefing documents fact sheets bylined articles Q amp As newsletters and other communications materials Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists influencers and key stakeholders across relevant industries Identify proactive media opportunities and support media outreach to secure impactful earned coverage Monitor traditional digital and social media conversations providing timely insights and reporting to clients Conduct research on industry trends competitors stakeholder landscapes and audience insights to inform communications strategies Support the planning and execution of media events press conferences product launches executive interviews and integrated campaigns Collaborate with internal specialists across digital creative social strategy and production teams to deliver integrated communications solutions Prepare client reports campaign evaluations meeting agendas contact reports and media coverage analyses Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables across multiple work streams Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and support the development of new business proposals and presentations Ensure all work reflects Edelman s standards for quality accuracy and attention to detail Strong writing and storytelling abilities Excellent client service and relationship management skills Basic understanding of the financial services landscape in the region and globally Media relations and stakeholder engagement Critical thinking and problem-solving Project and time management Attention to detail and quality assurance Collaboration and teamwork Adaptability and willingness to learn Curiosity about business media culture and emerging trends Delivers high-quality work on time and to a consistently high standard Builds trusted relationships with clients media and colleagues Identifies proactive opportunities that add value to client programs Demonstrates sound judgment initiative and accountability Contributes positively to team culture and Edelman s collaborative environment Continuously develops communications expertise and industry knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or an agency environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Arabic language skills are an advantage for Middle East-based roles.

Demonstrated experience writing media materials and client communications.

Understanding of the regional, international media landscape and financial services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with media monitoring and media database platforms.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
