Danat Al Emarat is a world‑class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full‑fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high‑risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

The Pediatric Outpatient Department (OPD) plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality healthcare services to infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, supporting physicians during consultations, and ensuring a safe, child‑friendly environment for patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient setting
  • Assist paediatricians during examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Assess and record patient vital signs, medical history, and symptoms
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
  • Educate parents and caregivers on child health, medications, and follow‑up care
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Science in Nursing Degree
  • Valid DOH license
