Registered Nurse - ICU

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU settings.
• Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient conditions including vital signs and hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely and accurately.
• Operate and manage advanced life‑support equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients and titrate critical drips, vasopressors, sedatives, etc.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and code situations.
• Assist physicians during procedures and interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and electronic records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams for care planning.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and reassessments.
• Monitor and manage invasive lines: central lines, arterial lines, catheters.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and critical lab results.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative critical care.
• Recognize early signs of patient deterioration and elevate appropriately.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Valid nursing license (DOH / HAAD eligibility or license preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years ICU experience in a tertiary hospital.
• Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
