Registered Nurse - Homecare

Prepares clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, works as liaison between treating physician and other personnel regarding changes in the client's condition and family members. Counsels the clients and family in meeting nursing and related needs, participates in in-service programs, and supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.

• Monitor and record vital signs and report to the treating physicians for abnormal values
• Administer prescribed medications
• Monitor intravenous infusions and parenteral therapies
• Care for clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy and colostomy
• Carry out nursing care for clients with pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and clients on ventilator
• Deliver nursing care for clients with hemiplegia, paraplegia, Bell's palsy, cerebral palsy, terminally ill, and elderly, etc.
• Care for newborns, pre- and post-partum mothers
• Care for clients with physical challenges and those who need special care at home or at their educational facility
• Deliver simple exercises, help with ambulation and accompany clients to social gatherings, hospitals, other treatment facilities and outdoors
• Care for wounds to prevent exacerbation of pressure ulcers
• Report and record medical events, procedures and other medical parameters
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems to report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager, or medical doctor

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing in the home country
• Active Basic Life Support training
• Critical care qualification
• Pediatric qualification (for pediatrics RN)
• ACLS (for adult patients)
• PALS (for pediatric patients)
• Teaching and assessing

• 2 to 5 years working experience as RN

• Current valid registration in country of training and/or country of last employment
• Eligible for DOH / DHA / MOH licensing
