Healthpoint, part of the M42 group, is a multi-specialty hospital based in Abu Dhabi. The hospital includes 10 specialty centers: bariatric (weight loss) surgery & weight loss, dentistry, medical specialties, musculoskeletal medicine, pain management & headache, physiotherapy & rehabilitation, plastic surgery & dermatology, pulmonary & sleep medicine, vascular medicine & surgery, & surgical specialties.
The role is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with Dubai Health Authority and organization policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct Initial Nursing Assessments:
Perform thorough patient evaluations according to clinical guidelines and facilitate necessary medical referrals. - Provide Holistic Patient Care:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care while considering cultural and socioeconomic factors. - Administer Medications & Treatments:
Manage and administer medications, including vaccines, ensuring adherence to protocols. - Ensure Patient Safety & Best Practices:
Promote a safe healthcare environment by following clinical guidelines, policies, and best evidence-based practices. - Utilize & Maintain Medical Equipment & Supplies:
Efficiently manage clinical equipment, material resources, and medical store monitoring. - Document & Communicate Effectively:
Maintain clear and accurate records, escalation care when needed, and facilitate seamless patient transitions. - Educate & Support Patients and Families:
Implement patient education plans from admission to discharge, ensuring safety, care management, and preventive health measures.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years’ experience post qualification
- Current Nursing license in country of origin
- Holder of United Arab Emirates Medical License
- Have Basic Life Support (BLS)
