Veterinary Nurse – Groomy Pet at United Al Saqer Heavy Equipment LLC
Job DescriptionWe are a veterinary practice looking for a registered nurse with enthusiasm for small animals to join our practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the activities related to veterinary nursing within the clinic area and be the main helping hand of the veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the veterinary team and physiotherapist as required before, during and after consultations.
- Provide customer service during clinic consultations.
- Perform anesthetic nursing during surgeries (including induction and recovery).
- Support surgical nursing duties.
- Handle admission and discharge of patients.
- Administer medical nursing care.
- Perform catheter placement, blood draws and basic laboratory analysis.
- Conduct radiology procedures.
- Monitor patients as required during hospitalization.
- Check on boarded pets as needed.
- Work closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Assist management with protocol implementation when needed.

Job Requirements:Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
- Valid veterinary nursing certification or license.
- Strong skills in animal handling, clinical assistance, and patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and support veterinarians during procedures.
- Animal handling and restraint.
- Clinical skills such as medication administration and sample collection.
- Patient monitoring and post‑operative care.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Diagnostic Imaging.
- Basic orthopedic surgery.
