Position: Embryo Transfer Specialist (Camel Reproduction)

Embryo Transfer Specialist (Camel Reproduction) – Abu Dhabi | Veterinary | Breeding & Reproduction

Micah Solutions FZE is partnering with a leading, well‑established camel veterinary and breeding clinic in Abu Dhabi to appoint an experienced Embryo Transfer Specialist (Camel Reproduction). This recruitment for a client recognized for advanced camel breeding, embryo transfer, and reproductive medicine services
, similar to the dedicated camel reproduction centers operating across the UAE and GCC.

This role is ideal for a Veterinarian with hands‑on experience in camel embryo transfer
, reproductive ultrasound, donor and recipient management, and fertility case follow-up. Regional ET programs highlight specialist responsibility for donor monitoring, hormone protocols, embryo flushing, and synchronized recipient transfer, all of which underpin this opportunity.

Role Overview

As an Embryo Transfer Specialist – Camel Reproduction
, you will:

  • Lead and perform embryo transfer procedures in camels, including donor evaluation, follicular monitoring, embryo recovery, grading, and transfer into synchronized recipients.
  • Support high‑value breeding programs by optimizing pregnancy rates, reproductive performance, and long‑term herd genetics.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, breeders, and reproductive technicians in a specialized camel clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out embryo transfer procedures in camels, from donor assessment and hormone stimulation through to embryo flushing and transfer to recipient camels. Standard ET practice in camel centers involves monitoring follicular waves by ultrasound, superovulation, and non‑surgical embryo collection 8 days post‑mating.
  • Conduct reproductive examinations and gynecological evaluations using ultrasonography to assess donor and recipient readiness, uterine condition, and ovulation status.
  • Monitor donor and recipient reproductive cycles, including follicular development, ovulation, superovulation response, and post‑transfer pregnancy progress.
  • Evaluate embryo quality, handle and grade embryos, and apply appropriate transfer protocols to maximize implantation and pregnancy success. Large‑scale camel ET operations show pregnancy rates depend significantly on embryo quality and recipient uterine status.
  • Assist in camel infertility diagnosis and treatment, working in tandem with the reproductive and clinical team on complex fertility and breeding cases.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records of ET cycles, reproductive examinations, pregnancies, and outcomes for reporting, research, and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to clinic SOPs, animal welfare standards, biosecurity, and UAE veterinary regulations during all procedures and animal handling.
  • Collaborate closely with clinic management, veterinarians, technicians, and handlers to ensure smooth case flow, safe animal handling, and a high‑quality client experience.
Candidate Profile
  • Veterinary degree (DVM / BVSc or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in camel reproduction and embryo transfer or large animal ET (camels, cattle, or equines). Regional postings for camel ET roles typically require at least 2–3 years of practical ET experience.
  • Strong skills in reproductive ultrasonography, gynecological exams, and fertility case management in camels.
  • Good knowledge of embryo grading, recipient selection, and post‑transfer monitoring.
  • High attention to detail, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in specialized, high‑value breeding programs.
  • Professional communication skills in English;
    Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in a field/clinic‑based environment in Abu Dhabi with flexibility during the breeding season.
Location
  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
  • On‑site position based in the camel clinic / reproductive facility.
What's On Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, aligned with experience and market benchmarks for reproductive specialists.
  • Opportunity to join a reputable camel veterinary and breeding clinic recognized for advanced embryo transfer and reproductive technologies, including large‑scale ET programs and high‑performance breeding outcomes.
  • Exposure to a specialized reproductive medicine environment focused on camel breeding excellence, fertility management, and cutting‑edge veterinary care.
  • Professional, mission‑driven culture focused on animal welfare, breeding quality, and client satisfaction.
