HSE Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily HSE inspections at work sites, labour camps and operational vehicles
• Monitor compliance with company HSE procedures and UAE regulations
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA)
• Deliver Toolbox Talks, safety inductions and awareness training
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses and prepare investigation reports
• Monitor emergency preparedness, first aid facilities and firefighting equipment
• Verify vehicle safety, housekeeping and welfare standards
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports
• Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure timely closure of HSE observations
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all operations

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of UAE HSE experience in waste management, facilities management, municipal services, construction, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, ADOSH/EHSMS, and ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 & 22301 (BCM) requirements.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• UAE Driving License (mandatory).
