Health Safety Environment Officer

Responsibilities

• Independent Management: Take full ownership of HSE activities for your assigned project or work zone.
• Risk & Prevention: Prepare comprehensive Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures, and lead daily, engaging Toolbox Talks (TBT).
• Compliance & Audits: Maintain meticulous HSE documentation, registers, records, and ensure absolute compliance with local statutory regulations.
• Safety Culture: Foster a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all multicultural team members adhere strictly to safety protocols.
• Flexibility: Adapt to project demands by working extended hours, weekends, or shifts as required.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any discipline).
• Certifications:
• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
• NEBOSH Level 6 is highly preferred and will be an added advantage.
• Registration as an OSH Practitioner is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of solid construction experience within the UAE.
• Experience on projects with clients like TAQA and DMT (Department of Municipalities and Transport) is preferred.
• Local Standards: Sound, practical knowledge of the ADOSH-SF framework requirements.
• Location & Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE and fully available for an in-person interview in Abu Dhabi.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate in a diverse, multicultural environment.
