HSE Officer

We're urgently looking for a diligent and highly-observant HSE Officer who is knowledgeable in Safety Protocols and Regulations in the Marine Industry.

As an HSE Officer at ZMI Holdings
, your primary responsibility is to ensure a secure working environment and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization by leveraging your expertise in safety protocols and regulations. Detailed responsibilities are as follows:

• Implementing and monitoring safety procedures and protocols.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Developing and delivering safety training programs for employees.
• Investigating accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Maintaining safety documentation and records.
• Collaborating with management to develop and improve safety policies and procedures.
• Keeping abreast of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements /

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in a safety-related role in the marine industry.
• Familiarity with safety management systems and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Knowledge of maritime safety standards and practices is advantageous.
