The Freelance Arabic Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing health and safety practices at exhibitions and events. This role includes conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety plans, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards. The Safety Manager will monitor on-site activities, perform safety inspections, and coordinate with event organizers, venue management, and contractors to address potential hazards.

Day-to-day tasks involve delivering safety briefings, guiding floor management teams, documenting incidents, and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe environment for staff, exhibitors, and visitors.

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Safety practices, with experience applying them in event or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles, including developing and delivering safety programs.
• Experience in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, documentation, and implementation of preventive measures.
• Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent) and familiarity with local Abu Dhabi and UAE safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in fast-paced event settings, manage multiple stakeholders, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to conduct briefings, write clear safety documentation, and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Previous experience in exhibition, events, construction, or facilities safety management is highly beneficial.
