HSE Inspector

Accountable for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in construction and landscape projects. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, implementing effective safety measures, conducting thorough investigations, and providing continuous education and awareness to the workforce. The HSE Inspector plays a crucial role in mitigating risks, preventing accidents, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization

• Monitor work site and check that it is safe for people to work at and in compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Assist the HSE officer in carrying out his duties
• Ensure that unsafe act and unsafe condition are minimized on site
• Monitor and supervise the compliance of workforce according to in-house safety rules and the safety requirements and standards.
• Investigating accidents and complaints
• Closely examining equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, taking photographs where required
• Considering the appropriateness of protective equipment and ensuring employees have everything they need to work safely
• Preparation of HSE reports
• Continuous monitoring of all projects related activities to ensure alignment with and adherence to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management
• systems and plans
• Conduct internal training for the workers
• Perform any other duties as are within the scope as assigned by the superior(s)

• A bachelor's degree /Diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field

• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
