QA QC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionalities and performance metrics
• Identify, document, and track defects using standardized procedures facilitating effective communication with development teams
• Automate testing processes where feasible leveraging industry‑standard tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct thorough reviews of requirements and design specifications providing feedback to stakeholders to mitigate potential issues early
• Implement and maintain quality assurance standards ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality, reliability and user experience
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in root cause analysis of defects recommending preventive measures to enhance product robustness
• Stay current with emerging trends in QA methodologies integrating best practices into the testing process
• Prepare and present detailed test summary reports for stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment on quality metrics

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating a solid track record in diverse testing environments
• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE, showcasing commitment to professional development and industry standards
• Experience in Agile methodologies, enabling effective collaboration in dynamic project environments
• Proficient in automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or QTP, equipping candidates with essential technical skills
• Strong analytical skills, allowing for effective problem‑solving and thorough examination of software functionality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with team members and stakeholders
• Attention to detail, ensuring thoroughness in testing processes and meticulous documentation of defects
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, showcasing resilience in fast‑paced environments
