Role Overview

Lead Project Engineer – Shutdown – responsible for end‑to‑end package delivery ensuring compliance with contractual, diagnostic and project requirements and alignment with Return‑to‑Service (ROS) dates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage post‑order execution of engineered packages, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with ROS dates.
  • Control vendor documentation, manufacturing progress monitoring, logistics coordination, technical issue resolution, and inspections.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary review of vendor documents (engineering, QA/QC, HSE) and ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Track manufacturing progress through expediting reports and factory visits, validate against milestones, and certify payment.
  • Develop and monitor delivery schedules, coordinate packing, shipping, customs clearance, Incoterms compliance, and logistics requirements.
  • Resolve technical and quality issues in collaboration with engineering, QA/QC, and client teams and ensure timely implementation.
  • Manage pre‑inspection meetings, FAT coordination, punch‑list closure and ensure packages meet ROS compliance.
  • Maintain transparent communication on delivery status, risks and mitigation plans through expediting reports.
  • Evaluate vendor performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
  • 15+ years of experience in package delivery within EPC/EPCM environments.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor documentation processes, manufacturing workflows, logistics and Incoterms.
  • Experience in ADNOC shutdown and familiarity with QA/QC standards, inspection protocols, and international codes.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and complex interfaces.
  • Proficiency in progress tracking and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and risk‑management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
