Specialist – Gate 3 & 4
Join our Aviation & Aero Engine MRO team as a Specialist for Gate 3 & 4 Assembly within Engine Operations. This critical role provides advanced technical and operational support during the engine assembly stage, ensuring adherence to approved maintenance data, OEM instructions, and aviation regulations. You will act as a subject matter expert, supporting operational efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance standards.
While not directly supervising staff, you will offer technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members, contributing to the safe and timely progression of engines towards testing and release readiness.
- Technical and Operational Support: Execute engine assembly activities in compliance with approved procedures, manuals, and quality standards. Support configuration control, troubleshooting, and operational readiness by ensuring availability and proper use of tools and resources.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to aviation regulations, customer requirements, and health and safety standards. Promote a culture of integrity and accountability, identify and report non-compliance or defects, and support audits and quality reviews.

Provide on-the-job coaching and share operational knowledge with junior staff to foster consistent, safe, and high-quality assembly work. Assist supervisors in identifying training needs and promote effective teamwork across departments. - Customer Support and Continuous Improvement: Respond to operational queries, contribute to improvement initiatives targeting safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, and participate in root cause analyses and operational excellence projects.
We seek a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MRO, or a related technical field, complemented by relevant engine type training and technical approvals. Ideally, you bring 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in engine assembly or related aviation maintenance environments, with hands‑on expertise in Gate 3 & 4 engine operations. Experience as an approval holder and prior involvement in coaching junior staff are advantageous.
Key competencies include strong engine MRO technical knowledge, regulatory compliance, problem‑solving abilities, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Formal supervisory experience is not required, but a proactive approach to teamwork and technical leadership is essential.
