Project Quality Manager - Walkin Chennai
Responsibilities
Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP) and other technical procedures; review of Technical Bid Evaluation Sheet (TBE); inspection and test plan (ITP) and other operating procedures for Long Lead Items (LLI); finalization of construction procedures, ITP QA procedures, welding procedure specification (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR).
Effectively coordinate with client, subcontractor and vendor during all phases of the project.
Lead a team of QC members comprising civil, welding, painting coating, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
Ensure compliance of all quality requirements as per scope of work.
QualificationsMechanical engineering graduate with 20+ years of experience.
Experienced in executing QA/QC requirements for EPC projects in Oil and Gas sector.
Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
Certifications in welding and painting disciplines are added advantage.
Approvals from ADNOC/ARAMCO/PDO/KNPC or other major oil companies are mandatory.
Exposure in cross‑country pipeline projects with larger diameter pipes in automatic welding process.
Fluent in English and good in drafting technical letters and reports.
Need to reside at site project accommodation.
Eligibility Criteria- Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
- Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
- Clean‑shaven policy applicable
- Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible
- Maximum age limit is 49 years.
- For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
