Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project activities, materials, and workmanship comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, and client requirements. The role involves monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on quality-related aspects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors on all quality-related matters.
- Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
- Perform internal audits and participate in external audits as required.
- Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
- Experience needed in Marine Projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in QA/QC within similar projects.
- Proven experience in quality control and assurance practices in construction/engineering projects.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
- Experience with inspection, testing, and auditing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in reporting and documentation tools.
