Job Summary

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project activities, materials, and workmanship comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, and client requirements. The role involves monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on quality-related aspects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities.
  • Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors on all quality-related matters.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
  • Perform internal audits and participate in external audits as required.
  • Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
  • Experience needed in Marine Projects.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in QA/QC within similar projects.
  • Proven experience in quality control and assurance practices in construction/engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 9001.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation.
  • Experience with inspection, testing, and auditing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation tools.
