We are seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer / Site QC In-Charge (MEP) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for large-scale MEP construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, consultant requirements, and applicable international codes while managing inspections, documentation, testing, NCRs, audits, and project handover documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan in coordination with the QA/QC Manager.
• Ensure compliance with project quality objectives, contract specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare, review, and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements before execution.
• Conduct inspections for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installation works.
• Perform material inspections and verify compliance with approved material submittals.
• Monitor site quality activities including inspections, testing, documentation, and record management.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Issue, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions.
• Prevent the use of non-compliant materials and report quality issues to project management.
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
• Conduct quality training and awareness sessions for project teams and subcontractors.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Maintain QA/QC records, reports, inspection logs, and testing documentation.
• Prepare project quality reports and submit periodic updates to the QA/QC Manager.
• Coordinate preparation of project handover and close-out documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, warehouse, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards, inspection procedures, and construction specifications.
• Experience working with consultants, clients, and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
