Mechanical QC Inspector

As a Mechanical QC Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance across fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of EPC projects. Your expertise will ensure compliance with international codes and project specifications.

As a QC Inspector (Mechanical), you will

• Perform inspections of mechanical works including piping, static equipment, and steel structures
• Witness and verify testing activities (hydrotesting, pressure testing, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (ASME, API, ASTM), and quality standards
• Review inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documents
• Coordinate with QA/QC team, contractors, and client representatives
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and punch lists
• Monitor fabrication and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures
• Participate in project audits and quality reviews

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in oil & gas EPC projects
• Experience in inspection of piping, welding, and mechanical equipment

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certifications such as CSWIP, BGAS, or equivalent preferred

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO)
