UAE National - EHS Officer

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across the organization.

• Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational health and safety standards.
• Deliver EHS inductions, awareness sessions, and safety training for employees.
• Monitor emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation procedures.
• Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication and employee engagement.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on EHS-related matters.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace safety practices.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health & Safety.
• Experience with in education, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or government sectors is an advantage.

• Professional EHS certification is preferred
  , such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA
  , or an equivalent Health & Safety certification.

• Knowledge of UAE EHS regulations and international safety standards.
