We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards, customer requirements, and company procedures. The role supports quality assurance activities across all stages of fabrication and manufacturing to promote continual improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management System (QMS)- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, and applicable industry standards.

    - Develop, review, and update quality procedures, inspection plans, work instructions, and quality documentation.

    - Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, client requirements, and contractual obligations.

    - Prepare and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and method statements.
  • Quality Assurance Activities
    - Conduct internal quality audits and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.

    - Monitor the effectiveness of quality processes and recommend improvements.

    - Maintain Quality Objectives, Risk & Opportunity Registers, and continual improvement records.

    - Review project documentation to ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards.

    - Participate in management review meetings and prepare quality performance reports.
  • Quality Control Coordination
    - Coordinate with QC Inspectors, Welding Inspectors, NDT personnel, and project teams to ensure inspection requirements are implemented.

    - Review inspection reports, material certificates (MTCs), test certificates, and quality records.

    - Ensure material traceability, welding consumable control, fabrication records, and inspection documentation are properly maintained.

    - Verify implementation of inspection and testing requirements in accordance with approved ITPs.
  • Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
    - Raise, review, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

    - Perform root cause analysis and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

    - Verify the effectiveness and timely closure of corrective actions.

    - Support investigations of customer complaints and quality-related issues.
  • Auditing & Compliance
    - Conduct internal, supplier, and project quality audits.

    - Support client, third-party, and certification body audits.

    - Ensure compliance with API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, ASME, AWS, and other applicable customer and industry standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    - Review and control QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and final project dossiers.

    - Prepare audit reports, KPI reports, quality performance summaries, and management reports.

    - Ensure proper document control and record retention in accordance with QMS requirements.

    - Support preparation of Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs), completion dossiers, and project handover documentation.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement
    - Identify quality training needs and support employee competency development.

    - Promote quality awareness and continual improvement throughout the organization.

    - Provide guidance to project teams on quality requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within fabrication, manufacturing, oil & gas, or engineering industries.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with QA/QC documentation, fabrication processes, welding, NDT, inspection, and testing activities.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, ASME, AWS, and related quality standards.
  • Experience in preparing quality documentation, audit reports, and project dossiers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
