Job Description We are hiring an experienced Quality Engineer Pipeline for a long-term Cross Country Pipeline project in Abu Dhabi The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pipeline construction QA QC activities welding inspection material inspection documentation and quality management for Oil Gas EPC projects
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, ITPs, client requirements, and international standards.
- Coordinate inspection activities for pipeline welding, coating, fit-up, lowering, tie-ins, hydrotesting, and reinstatement.
- Review quality documents including ITPs, Method Statements, Inspection Reports, NCRs, and Quality Records.
- Coordinate with Construction, Welding, NDT, Procurement, and Client representatives.
- Monitor material receiving inspections, traceability, preservation, and storage.
- Participate in internal audits, client inspections, and third-party inspections.
- Raise, monitor, and close NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and project quality requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 8-15 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Mandatory experience in Cross Country Pipeline construction.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO 9001, and project quality standards.
- Experience in pipeline welding inspection, coating inspection, material inspection, hydrotesting, and mechanical completion.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, inspection coordination, and client reporting.
- Previous experience on ADNOC or other major Middle East Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- CSWIP 3.1,3.2 / AWS CWI (Preferred)
- ASNT Level II (RT/UT/MT/PT/VT) - Preferred
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Preferred - BGAS/NACE Certification
