Senior Quality Engineer Procurement Cross Country Pipeline Location Abu Dhabi Site Based Job Industry Oil Gas EPC Cross Country Pipeline Experience 10 15 Years
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer Procurement for a major Cross Country Pipeline project in Saudi Arabia The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in procurement quality engineering vendor quality surveillance inspection coordination and material compliance for oil gas pipeline projects
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve vendor quality documents, including ITPs, QAPs, Material Test Certificates (MTCs), and manufacturing procedures.
- Ensure procured materials comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate vendor inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and resolve quality-related issues.
- Review manufacturing records, inspection reports, and certification documents.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, Expediting, and Construction teams to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Perform supplier audits and vendor assessments as required.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes.
- Support material receiving inspections and documentation during project execution.
- Prepare procurement quality reports and maintain quality records.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in Procurement Quality for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Proven experience on Cross Country Pipeline projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of procurement quality processes, vendor inspections, and supplier quality management.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, ASME, API, ASTM, ISO 9001, and international quality requirements.
- Experience in inspection of line pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, structural steel, coating materials, and pipeline equipment.
- Strong communication, coordination, and report preparation skills.
- Preferred CertificationsISO 9001 Lead AuditorCSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI (Preferred)
ASNT Level II (Added Advantage)
Saudi Aramco project experience is highly preferred.
