Senior Quality Engineer Static Rotating And Packages

Job Description:

Lead quality assurance and inspection activities for static,rotating and packaged equipment across procurement, vendor inspection andproject execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications, QMS, ITPsand international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review procurement documents, POs, specifications, vendorITPs, WPS and quality requirements.
• Develop project-specific QCPs, ITPs and ITRs for supplier andsite activities.
• Establish inspection criticality, vendor quality requirements and TPI inspection scope.
• Coordinate pre-inspection meetings, vendor inspections,surveillance and shop testing.
• Monitor vendor inspectors and assess supplier QA/QC system sand capabilities.
• Review material certificates, inspection procedures, personnelqualifications and quality documentation.
• Verify equipment/material compliance with approved drawings,datasheets and specifications.
• Coordinate technical discrepancies, vendor queries, NCRs and corrective actions through closure.
• Issue and track NCRs, inspection reports, release notes andconformance documentation.
• Coordinate MRB compilation and timely submission in line with approved requirements.
• Liaise with discipline engineers, vendors, TPI inspectors,client/owner representatives and management.
• Support quality improvements and provide technical guidance tosuppliers on testing and final documentation.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant Quality/Inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API and internationalcodes/standards.
• Experience with static, rotating equipment and packages.
• Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry experience mandatory.
• Previous experience with major EPC contractors required.
• Strong vendor inspection, procurement quality and documentation management skills.
