Manage supplier and site quality activities for piping and structural materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs, QCPs, international standards and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Review procurement documents, purchase orders, supplier ITPs, WPS, procedures and quality requirements.
- Establish inspection criticality, supplier quality requirements and project-specific QCPs, ITPs and ITRs.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments, post-order evaluations, pre-inspection meetings and vendor surveillance.
- Review supplier QA/QC systems, inspection procedures, personnel qualifications and material certificates.
- Verify materials/products against approved drawings, datasheets and specifications; witness inspections and testing.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Completions, vendors, TPI and Client/Owner representatives.
- Identify, issue and track NCRs, technical queries, deviations and corrective actions through closure.
- Monitor purchase requisitions, inspection progress and timely MRB/document submission.
- Prepare inspection reports, release notes, capability assessment reports and quality documentation.
- Provide technical support to suppliers and resolve quality/technical discrepancies.
- Support PetroPCS setup and ensure inspection requirements are properly integrated with project completion systems.

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant Quality/Inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of piping, structural steel and related engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of international codes and standards.
- Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry experience mandatory.
- Previous experience with major EPC contractors required.
- Strong vendor inspection, procurement quality, documentation and NCR management skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
