Qc Inspector; E&I

Responsible for Quality Control inspections in an allocated segment of a project under execution.

Identify and report nonconformities, follow-up on remedial action and signing off completed components of work.

• Study project specifications and technical drawings to gain an understanding and appreciation of work to be undertaken.
• Inspect work being carried out on projects, within allocated area of responsibility, to ensure compliance with the Quality inspection plan.
• Resolve minor issues at the work site and prepare a non-conformance report in the case of more serious breaches setting out the circumstances.
• Ensure the timely issuance of inspection and testing quality records and check their adequacy to demonstrate the conformity of construction works.
• Generate inspection reports to record activities undertaken daily and sign-off completed work segments at respective hold points and passes reports to Documentation for filing and safekeeping.
• Liaise with client QC representative on inspection activities and provide clarifications.
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

• Post Secondary Technical Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Advance discipline certification IECEx.
• Minimum 05 yearslexperience in a similar role and industry.
